Thanks for the comments. Yeah, my Grandpa bought it new and it's been in the family ever since. About fifteen years ago my dad and I put in a 350 since the original 283 had been rebuilt a few times already. It had around 250,000 miles on it and had been sitting in the front yard of my Dad's house with out moving for about 12 years. We dropped the 350 in and I took it around the country. Now that I have the garage space, I tore it down and shortened it up. It's been about a year since I started and it will probably be another year before it's close to done.

I'll try to figure this site out and post the updates on here. I've gotten many ideas from this site and I'm going to try to contribute back if I can.
