Factory vs. aftermarket tow hitch
I am in need of adding a hitch on my 08 Silverado I wont be towing much
(its a short bed V-6) I want the factory "clean" look but the factory piece looks kinda cheesy ? Anybody have one like this ? Would you do it again or try and find something cleaner looking ? Maybe its a bad angle on this picture ?

Re: Factory vs. aftermarket tow hitch
Thats what the hitch looks like on my '03 1/2 ton GMC. If by cheesy you mean weak, it's far from...I have towed 12,000 LBS with mine and had no issues.

Re: Factory vs. aftermarket tow hitch
I have a Reese on my 02 and can't complain about what it will do or how it looks.
These are the only pictures I have from the work computer.
