summit sport bumpers?

http://store.summitracing.com/egnsea...view=sku#rstop

does anyone know if these fey mounting hardware will work with the goodmark oem sport bumpers?

tuf-92200 is the hardware. its near the bottom of the list

gmk-4144-800-734 is the bumper.

this hardware is $100 cheaper than everywhere else.
before anyone says it i know you get what you pay for.

ii don't understand why everyone else has the hardware priced the same as the bumper?

Exclamation

those will not work with a goodmark or GM bumper. they're totally different brackets.

i do know that LMC brackets will work with goodmark bumpers tho. i ordered a goodmark bumper from summit (they said no additional hardware needed so i half hoped it was an all inclusive package). when i tried to order the appropriate bumper bracket kit they told me they didn't stock it anymore. actually, i called goodmark and they said they didn't stock it anymore either.

perhaps i was getting the run around...

i did find out that the goodmark is an almost exact replica of an OEM GM one. with that information i ordered the LMC set and hoped for the best.

it all worked out in the end. yeah it's a lot of coin, but sometimes you've just gotta bite the bullet. even if you were to find a scrap yard set they're kind of a pain to get off. why do twice the work for $85?

good luck with the quest.

Re: summit sport bumpers?

Those brackets are for a step bumper, and it won't fit a sport bumper. I should be able to get the correct rear brackets for the 81-87's but it would take a couple weeks at least, they are $170 + shipping.
