WIW...question about a 71 Blazer.

First of all, I've always wanted a Blazer even more then my C-10 stepside but never could find one that I can afford until....now. There is this guy that is selling 71 K5 Blazer 350/350 turbo. 75K miles. hard top and soft top. dana 44 front / 12 bolt rear. 6" lift 35' BFGs. A lot of parts because he was just gonna replace stuff instead of repair. New doors, rockers, floor pans, fenders that need to be put in and a lot more parts. The bad thing is that it is all apart and the body shop that was gonna replace the bed area took his money 3 years ago and still haven't done a thing to the bed. I haven't seen it in person so I don't have pictures sorry. I will go check it out Monday with him so I can take pictures then. Just wanted to know with my description so far, what do you guys think this thing is worth. What would be a really good buy price? I know that it will need bodywork like patch panels and so that I would be doing myself. Any help advice or whatever is greatly appreciated! Later. Storm.

Getting the pics will really help us. Being torn apart is gonna keep the price way down. Few people have the desire to jump into a project that is all torn apart but if you don't mind, you just might get this for a good price. I'll try to help on the value when you get the pics posted.

Thanks Yukon, I will take some pictures on Monday when I see it. If I do get it, I would definitely call it "Project Piece The Puzzle" lol. Anyone wanna take a stab at what they would pay for something like this besides a dollar...lol ? Anyone?

Re: WIW...question about a 71 Blazer.

Well, I went and checked out the blazer this morning but forgot my camera. Anyways, it was rotted so bad beyond repair that I am not even gonna think about getting it. Maybe buy it to part it out. I will check with the owner in a couple of weeks and if he doesn't sell it complete be then, he might part it out. I could use the fron't disc brake set up and the 350 tranny. He has a decent hard top and some new parts also for some of you blazer guys.

Still depends on how cheap it is and if he does have all the parts to repair it. But I love to get myself into things I can't get out of so i'd buy it but that's just me.
