I've seen 2 more before they in a early 90s ford and a 88-98 chevy truck both had the kind of topper with them that takes away the tailgate with 1 big door.

My Crew cab Dually has this kit as well as a custom fold down rear bench. It also has a custom front 40/20/40 bucket bench and GOBS of add on wood trim and lights. It was all installed when the truck was brand new and had a RED-E-KAMP deacal on the gate. Oh yeah electric roll up back window too.

here in utah you see alot of those.. some of the places that sell the shells, make them.. they can be nice, but they are in the way if you actually use you truck...
