Unhappy Problem with my new emblems! pics

I bought some things for my 75 from classicparts.com, all the weatherstrip and 2 scottsdale emblems but I can't figure out how to install 'em I have the original emblems and they came with little nuts, but the new ones doesn't have a thread to screw the nut??check the pics

thats what my stock ones have and some one said glue em and another said try to screw nuts on to those stud...sounds sketchy to me

Did it not come with the nuts? The thread or not going to be on them,the nuts will make the threads as you screw them on. It's like a lock nut.

you just screw the nuts onto the lil prongs.

yeah the nuts are like a little flemzy stamped steel speed nut... they will thread on there.

No it Didn't come with the nuts!!! but I have the oem ones.. will fit???

Bryan,

Things worked out well, I have a big show that I went to 3 weeks ago and I just had 3 days to get it running again. So I did most of it on Friday the day before the show that was in NC. So I got it going and changed the oil before I left and that Lunati runs super good. And I got best motor at the show after all that.. Thanks for asking.. Here is a before and After, the after was at the show the next day..

Congrats! Happy things turned out on the good side. I was just concerned about where the remains of the cam lobe may have ended up. Mine went south and hung around the main bearings long enough to wipe them out.
