4x4 front driveshaft ?

What are the correct measurements end to end for a 72 4x4 driveshaft, has a 350/350 with a 205 transfer case. I recently bought one from another member and it is about a inch too long. Will someone take time to measure yours and post measurements, would like measured from saddle to saddle, Thanks

Re: 4x4 front driveshaft ?

The longer shaft must be from a`73-up.Those trucks are longer up front, longer springs and motor out of the firewall.
