Shock question?

My son and I need to put new shocks on his stock 68 c10 longfleet. We want to do the front disc 2 1/2 drop conversion and 4" rear drop soon if not at the same time. Will shocks for the stock suspension work with the drop? Which shocks do you guys prefer? Thanks, Jeff and Josh.

Re: Shock question?

No stock shocks will not work, I weld shock mounts back on all the time. I put Rancho 5000 series on my stock height 79 and it said they were good for a 3in lift or a 3in drop. You need to size the shock to the suspension height.
