??? about our trucks.

I have an acquaintance who has some 67-72 truck parts for sale.
1. will a 67 or 68 cab fit a 72 frame without any mods?
2. Are Gordon repop fenders any good, how do they fit?
3. will this fender fit my 72 GMC truck?

Re: ??? about our trucks.

As far as I know the cabs will bolt up, but there are some differences like the E-brake etc. to deal with. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong Generally, repop fenders all fit the same, crappy But you can usually work with them and get a decent fit. I haven't used that particular brand but I don't see where it'll be a whole lot different than any other A/M stuff. That fender is for a 67-68(if it has a side marker it's 68). Only way it'll fit your 72 is if you swap the whole front end to the 67-68 style, you're grille won't fit that fender and I don't believe the hood lines up either. Holy crap, sorry for the long reply

Re: ??? about our trucks.

It does have a side marker hole in the fender. Also, I haven't removed the eyebrow from my 72 GMC, but that repop Gordon fender looks just like my original 72 GMC fender, but the repop doesn't have any holes drilled for the eyebrow to mount. I do know that a 68 Chevy fender will fit a GMC, but what makes it the correct fit?

Re: ??? about our trucks.

I missed the GMC part. Let me look. I was wrong, looks like the GMC used the same fender 68-72 which is the same as the 68 Chevy. My bad

Re: ??? about our trucks.

67-72 gmc and 67-68 chevy fenders are all the same with no side marker in 67 for both, so yes that fender will work on your gmc

Re: ??? about our trucks.

So all I would need to do is drill the holes for the GMC eyebrow?
