question with headers

I am putting an 89 tpi in my 68 truck along with the 700r4. I know there are plenty of guys out there who have done this setup before. I dont know which headers to buy/use. I want ceramic coated, no emmisions will be used on my tpi. it will be converted to speed density, but i tried fitting some long tubes and it almost went straight into the crossmember, others have said shorties will interfere with my column linkage to the tranny. So i might go with the cable linkage from lokar. any info and brands or part numbers will help. thanks

Re: question with headers

That 89 TPI motor is a standard chevy small block, which means a standard set of headers for the 1968 truck that you have will fit the design. If they point towards a frame piece, then they would do it for a carbed 350 also.

Re: question with headers

Check out my build thread, after having probs fitting long tubes, I went with Sanderson mid-lenghts fit great and are ceramic coated. Got them from ECE.
