Stick with quality stock replacements for the bumpers,I think they look the best, just my .02
As for bed wood I like oak but have seen some exotic woods that are really cool and a bit different.

For wood bed maybe try red oak or redwood?

The premium bumpers like LMC sells are pretty nice. They sell 2 classes, and of course the premiums are more expensive. The reality is that there are only a handful of companies actually stamping them. Most of the vendors sell about the same thing.

Cool Re: More Progress, Need Help

Keep looking for a stock bumper, it will be well worth the wait. As for the bed wood I just bought mine from Paddock. They matched the best price I could find and they were nice about it. Oak is the way to go if you ask me but as you know everyone has different tastes.

oak bed kit ct7140 was regular 599.95 and I found it elswhere for 398.00.
They matched the price. A little shopping around is well worth it.
