Rear AirRide 'Strong Arm' Question

Does anyone have the rear ART trailing arms on their truck? If so, I was curious about the measurement from the air bag pad on top of the arm to the rear end 'saddle' that the rear end sits on.

I would like to know the height difference between the two....

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

I can get you the measurements tonight when I get home if you still need them. Not sure what you mean by the "saddle" or where on the bag plate you want the measurements from.

I want the difference from the pad where the bags sits vs. the pad that the rear housing tubes sit on. So if you put a straight edge on the pad for the rear housing & measured the distance from there down to the pad that the bag sits on (I want to know the height difference between the two).

OK, I think I got it. I will measure it when I get home and post it tonight. I will also take a photo of what I'm measuring to make sure it's what you need.

Re: Rear AirRide 'Strong Arm' Question

I hope this is what you needed. Measurement A is 2 1/4 inches and B is 3 3/4 inches. If this is not what you needed, I can take more measurements. I placed a level at the bottom of the bag plate and measured from there to the top of the housing pad from the front and back.

Re: Rear AirRide 'Strong Arm' Question

That is exactly what I was needing. Thanks alot!

My curiosity was if ART designed the arms w/a 'block' built into them (since many guys add lowering blocks to their stock arms). That 2.25" dimension closest to the bag would seem to indicate that they are in fact designed that way.
