1972 Gmc Disc Brakes
Hello
Been reading the site for a while, registered recently, and became a supporter yesterday. Bought a 72 GMC recently. How can I tell if my front disc brakes are original ? The two pots in the master are the same size, and the front line appears to be smaller than the rear. If it is not orginal, how can I figure out the year so I can replace all the front suspension ? Thanks |

Re: 1972 Gmc Disc Brakes
Unless it has been lowered or seriousely modified, then it is probably all original or stock replacement parts.
What your 72 came with from the factory, is what the 70 and older group looks to to update with. Last edited by Longhorn Man; 06-29-2008 at 01:48 PM. |

Re: 1972 Gmc Disc Brakes
Thanks
It has a crate engine, HEI, and re-man Q-Jet. Other than that, everything else looks orig. |
