Please tell me why I'm stupid
I have a friend that I was over at his house looking for a set of transmission cooler lines for my 85. He has a 85 K-5 that has a new set of lines on it. He told me that he would sell me the lines for $150 and throw in the complete Blazer with it. It is in rough shape but has all the essentials there. I just have a little heartburn about dragging another truck up here to sit in the backyard for now. I think I can probably strip what I want and scrap the rest and make some of my money back. I just don't know though. I'm sure some will say it's a heck of a deal. Just kind of riding the fence right now........

Check "in line tube" and see how much the prebent lines are. I know my wife would kill me if I brought home a parts truck.

You could get a 150 out of it scrap price with no engine or trans.

Well against my wife's better judgement I bought the Blazer. I am stoked about it now. It really isnt in terrible shape. I think for the right person it would definitely be a keeper. I plan on robbing the tranny cooler lines and a few other odds and ends and selling it. It has a nice set of high back buckets and a sweet console and a new dash. Too bad all the stuff is red and my interior is blue, although I could change to a red interior. Even has the aluminum door sills. I started it up once I got home and moved it around in the yard. The block is cracked from running it hot.......what a pity. I will post some pics and let ya'll be the judge if I got my money's worth. I also weaseled a NP203 transfer case out of the deal. Don't know much about the 203 but I figure I can sell it. Next is the set of rallys he wants to sell me for $75.....
