Question Where has the James Blanton thread gone?

He has a woman selling his parts now! She was quite rude in an e-mail on ebay asking about chrome plated parts. Her ID is benagail57
Thought people here should know. She claims she bought out James! Anyone know about this? Could be his wife?

The "woman" is probably actually him. Wasn't he impersonating a woman on this board??

how would that work?
if you have to cut the top of the dash out to get it out, you'd just have to weld that one in, and that would just screw over the chrome?
unless its changed to bolt in at the top

Looks to me like it is cut across the slots. It could be bolted in that way and the slots tack welded. The dash pad would cover the seam but I think I would rather have a nice painted one...

Re: Where has the James Blaton thread gone?

Wish i would have seen this post before i bought items from her/him??? I got a tach dash with the billet overlay and it came with the glovebox door in chrome with the billet overlay. Thought i got a decent deal until i got the stuff. The billet has deep gouges in it in a few spots w/ a bunch of smaller scratches. There are worn off numbers on the lens, there is dirt inside the gauges under the lens, the white overlays are bubbled, and the whole thing has rust "dust" all over it. So in other words, STAY AWAY!!!!

Re: Where has the James Blaton thread gone?

I was thinking...if he has been posing as a woman....maybe he or she is a transgender??

Or would that be a transvestite?

always read the sticky posts and announcements The blanton post has been a sticky since january 2004. its also in the bad deals forum. sorry you had issues with him. I'd seriously suggest reviewing the review and bad deal areas.

Re: Where has the James Blaton thread gone?

If James Blaton or his wife are involved you better run.... it's junk. The sh*thead just stuck it to me for a tach. But, I have determined that if I need to chew on someone, I just call his number. If your boss pisses you off...call James....everyone wins.
