68 Chevy K10 project 4 sale

I have a 68 Chevy K10, stepside project vehicle for sale. The truck is complete (just in parts) The frame has been cleaned and painted. I have a running 350 engine which goes with the truck. Also has a 3 speed manual transmission. Rear is a posi 12 bolt with 308 gears. Front is drum brake. $1500 and don't want to sell as parts, just need the space so the whole truck must go. I only have $1500 in the truck and would really love to see it go to someone who will fininsh it. I have been bitten by the "muscle car bug" and I'm restoring a 69 Chevelle SS. I can't manage 2 projects so the truck must go.

ah man, I remember your truck. Sad to hear the your getting rid of it... good price though. Cheaper than mine was and in a lot better shape.

Good luck on the sale.... I dont think mama wants two of them around my house though...

Is the truck still disassembled like in the pictures?
do you still have the 4 speed/205 transfer case?
how good did the motor run?
Any new parts to go with it?
Hows the body?

The truck is disassembled with all the small parts in labeled zip.loc bags.

Yes, the 4 speed goes with the truck.

The motor smoked on startup but ran OK after that with no smoke.

No new parts.

The body is mostly solid, very little rust. The only sheet metal I was going to replace was one of the front quarters and one of the rear quarters, but these were only getting replaced because I thought replacing them would be cheaper than farming out the bodywork..

Nice project for someone closer. You're about 400 miles from Charlotte, NC I think. If gas wasn't so damn high I would go there to pick it up. Good luck with selling it. Storm.

my dad got out in '02 with 25 years in, but he's broke! damn sweet truck though, it shouldn't last long at that price...
