Grill Problems

I have a 1974 chevy truck that has a old rusty tube grill in it. I want to change it to a stock grill what years of grills will fit in there??

73-78 i believe will fit after 79 they had interior hood release even tho the grilles will bolt up from 73-80

A freind of mine has a i think a 1975-1976 grill but it will not fit. The hood relase lever will not line up. The 1975-1976 he has seems like the hole for the lever is off to the left side a little bit. Mine seems like it is right in the middle????

without mods, only a 73-74 grill will be a direct bolt in.

Yes... somebody post a site where teach you how to do the mods I saved one pic of the mod...
