This is a new site for me, so Hello everyone. I have a 70' Chevy 3/4 ton Custom Camper Special pickup I've had for about 5 or 6 years now. It, like alot of them needs a good restoration but in do time. I have other projects on the front burner.

It's a factory 400BB truck but it has a 396BB out of a Chevelle in it. Not sure of the HP rating, TH400, D60 rear with 4.56 gears. I dont know if its factory, I think it is but has wood bed floor, Is a factory AC and factory gage package truck. The body is very straight. Only had one bad rust spot in the rocker I allready cut out for a replacement piece. Interior is rough but would clean up with out much effort.

The guy I bought it off of did a front disc conv. I did a read disc conv. on it. I fabricated the caliper brackets and used front 3/4 ton rotors. I still need an e break but for now its fine since I dont drive the truck much at all anyways. Im probably going to sell it in the near future. I dont want to at all but I just dont have the space for it nor the time or money to put into it.

I have been saying this for the last three years and I still have the truck but who knows, If I sell it this time, thats fine if I dont, I dont. IF I had the time and could keep out of the weather I would really like to keep it and restore it with my son.

my current project is a 73' K5 rock crawling rig Im building. I also have an 89' 4x4 suburban reged as a 74', an 89' crew cab 1 ton LB 4x4 SRW, and a 06' 2500 HD 2wd LB pick up. my woman has an 02' Chevy Astro van, yea, you could say I love Chevy's.

Thanks man, Its a great truck, I love the old school Chevy's. It would be an awesome truck with some TLC. My Blazer is consuming all my time right now. A couple of pics of that project. The first pic is what I started with, then how it sits now and the cage I am about 90% done with. It will be all 1 ton drive train, 14FF and a Dana 60 front axle, has a 383 stroker. Will be putting in a Stak transfer case. I have maos all the parts for it now except a few big ticket items.

A few more pics to share. The 89' crew is in pieces, its a project too. The 2000 I dont have any more, Boy do I miss that truck. My burb needs a motor but It runs, I dont drive it. I drive my 06' HD.

I did put the passenger side tube in between the blinker and head light, just after this pic was taken. Bumper still needs powder coating.

You could also sit there and put one line of chalk horizontally and the other line vertically so that it looks like one wheel moved and the other didn't

I noticed both lines were vertical haha.
