Wheel suggestions.

Back long ago when I started working on this project. I had planned to go the Torq-thrust II route on it. Planned on 17's. It seems everyone else went that route. Now I am still fond of the torq-thrust's. But I am open to suggestions. Nothing bigger than 18". Thanks everyone. Sorry for the quality of the pics. My camera is smarter than me.

Re: Wheel suggestions.

Go to www.tirerack.com. Seems like they may have a truck bodystyle like ours. If you've never been there, you can pick a vehicle, sometimes a color and then the wheel/tire combo you are wanting to see. It'll give you an idea, at the least.

Me? I'm running Wheel Vintiques on my '69. It's a vette-style rallye, but with six lugs, police caps and hot rod trim rings. I had given a lot of thought to the wheel I would buy, and had a theme in mind, but finally the old school fever kicked in and the rallye's were the ticket for me.

But.....Cragar SS would look good. Of course, the TorqueThrust II looks good, too.

So, where in NE Ark? Paragould/Jonesboro/Kensett??

Re: Wheel suggestions.

I live in j-boro. My truck resides in rector. Which sucks. I never have time to work on it.

Re: Wheel suggestions.

Here is what I want to put on my 72. A little pricey, but well worth it. I have the Budnik Mercury 5 on an 89 FSC and love them.

Re: Wheel suggestions.

www.tirerack.com doesn't have our trucks as an option on the drop-down. My bad.

Yea I noticed that. I don't think I'll be going that route. Those look like mercedes or bentley material.
