Carlisle All-truck nationals.
I am going to take my truck. Should I enter the non-judged fun field -OR- the competition show field??
I know I wont place at a big event ( I wish they had more classes....like LWB class or something) but I think the truck has come along way and would fit in. I have some trophies from the local Maryland shows (so I think the truck looks good enough) I have only been there once (last year and it was Sunday) and there was not many trucks there....So I dont know the diff between the fields and what would be more fun. I do have a dent that I didnt have time to repair this year...but I weas going to put a magnetic band-aid over it for the show. Plus the truck is still WIP so....what do you guys think? Thanks for the feedback.

Re: Carlisle All-truck nationals.
If you are into the trophy thing by all means show in the competition. If you just want to have fun and show off your truck....
It's always nice to be recognized for your hard work but you will be competing against trailered stuff. And the amount of detailing to just show your truck competitively will eat into your time to enjoy the show. Just my 4 cents worth(gotta adjust for inflation ya know)

Re: Carlisle All-truck nationals.
I think all entered trucks will have a place in the field.I never took notice of what was the competion or fun show spots. They`re just all out there as far as I recall.I think either way it will be seen and will look good out there.

Re: Carlisle All-truck nationals.
I'm also not a big fan of trophy shows. Just take the truck there and have a good time. I didn't think there was any show competition there anyway. Like special-K said. I don't remember anything like that. Just trucks all over the place. Last year I remember it being so hot, there wasn't that big a turn out.
Not sure if I'm going or not this year, what with gas prices and all. I'll check with 70c10 and see if he's going.

Judged field, you'd be surprised, you might win something big or small, it all worth it!

I`m on spaces B17-19 and Tim Christian is the next row over,I think Row A?If that`s how they run.I`m straight in from Gate 2 and he`s 1 row closer to Gate 1.
