You can use this tool: http://www.manheimgold.com/car_lo.html

People can't answer you directly here because you need to be a subscribing member to have a "what's it worth" thread.

Do you work for the department of redundancy department? Just giving you a hard time...good luck on finding a value, it can be really hard to pin down on these old trucks.

Re: '68 Truck, need help with value

With older trucks, it's condition and rairity with strong consideration for demand. A 68 Long bed is not rare but if the condition is exceptional, it could bring in the $4-6,000. range or more. A picture or two would be a big help as well as what the options are, on the glove box door build sheet. Huck

Re: '68 Truck, need help with value

I went tot the DMV to get my 68 step transfered and pay all the necessary "stuff"...She looked it up in the book since I didn't have a bill of sell and the book value was $14000. I got a heck of a deal at $242.00
So going by that I'd say yours is somewhere around...$235,000.00

If you paid taxes on $14000 & only paid $242 I don't think you got too good a deal.
