With older trucks, it's condition and rairity with strong consideration for demand. A 68 Long bed is not rare but if the condition is exceptional, it could bring in the $4-6,000. range or more. A picture or two would be a big help as well as what the options are, on the glove box door build sheet. Huck

I went tot the DMV to get my 68 step transfered and pay all the necessary "stuff"...She looked it up in the book since I didn't have a bill of sell and the book value was $14000. I got a heck of a deal at $242.00
So going by that I'd say yours is somewhere around...$235,000.00

If you paid taxes on $14000 & only paid $242 I don't think you got too good a deal.

NO...I Bought the truck for $242, the taxes was gonna be somewhere around $840 (6% of 14000, KY sales tax)
