My reservoirs are the same size, does the front port go to the front brakes or back. Front are disc with rear drum, master cylinder is for a 71, I am putting a adjustable prop valve for the rear.

I'm pretty sure that the resevoirs are backwards. i.e. back resevoir are front brakes and front resevoir are rear brakes.

You need a disc/drum master cylinder. There is a difference in the volume of fluid moved. The drum style master has a residual vavle that will hold too much pressure on the discs.

It is a disc drum master, it is also a 1/2 ton.

On a 1/2 ton truck the front of the master is the front brakes.
FWIW, 3/4 ton is the opposite.
