antennae mount trim
I have a NOS antennae with the slot on the top to adjust the antennae square to the world on the cowl. I was wondering what is the proper orientation of that slot and how the offset chrome trim piece should be mounted up?

Re: antennae mount trim
On the original antennas that I have there is a tab on the lower side of the antenna base that aligns with the slot in the cowl. The antenna mounting parts are keyed together when installed and there is very little adjustment to make the antenna square. It the antenna hole is off location on the cowl then more than likely the antenna will be out of square.
Is your cowl punched for the antenna base? Jim

Re: antennae mount trim
the cowl came off a 71 truck and just had a round hole in the correct position. my original cowl was cut by PO and was in the wrong place. I have it on there now and i guess it looks okay but I am not sure I am getting a picture together to show.

Re: antennae mount trim
It seems I have lost the antenna bezel ( the round section in between the rubber seal and the nut) on my '68 C10. Can anyone please tell me where I can find just this part without having to buy the complete antenna assembly?
