Tailgate score
I have been looking for a long time for a good original tailgate that did not cost a arm and a leg. I was going to buy an after market one but have not heard anything good about them. I went to see a guy that I heard had a bunch of parts. I nearly wet myself when I went into the back yard of the business he owns. There was about 25 67 to 72 chevs at least 100 doors and stacks of parts all for the 67 to 72 chevs only seen about 10 boxsides. Then we went inside there was 5 more trucks all in the midst of being rebuilt. He did not want me to take pictures but I did get a new tailgate this is the straightest original tailgate I have seen only a couple little dents. Was sure he was going to want at least $500 to $600 for them. When he said 300 I asked if he took debit or cash

Re: Tailgate score
Looks great! Not to mention the trim pieces that came with it.
