Re: Picked up something new for the truck...
He will learn to love your truck just as much as you do... be sure to keep the window down and bring lots of Windex for the nose prints...
Great addition to the family! What's his name?

love the pic above!
Well hopefully the truck doesn't take after his name.

After looking close at the pics, Rusty is the perfect name.

Re: Picked up something new for the truck...
Man, that pup is cute. We just lost our border collie last month after 11 years to getting hit by a car. Yeah, it hit us really hard as he was the best dog. Smart ones they are!
They do love to run and are very active. Give them lots of attention and something to do and they will treat you good! Bandit loved to go for a ride in my truck - front or back didn't matter. I wish you many great years with him! I think Rusty is a fitting name - with that pic of him chewing on that rusty door and his coloring it just fits!

Re: Picked up something new for the truck...
Never had to train any of mine. You can tell they think about it for a bit, but that seems to go away. The current one rides front or back no problem. When he's in the back, he bends his head around the cab to look at me in the mirror.

Re: Picked up something new for the truck...
My dog is border collie & blue tick mix. She loves to ride also but the other week she dove out the window after a rabbit in the road luckly I was doing only 10 MPH. She didn't miss a stride after that rabbit guess thats the blue tick in her. Now I keep the window 3/4 way up.

I miss my two girls. And my truck. Even though both dogs were terrified to ride in ANY vehicle...
