Picked up a work truck
Its a 1969 cst with a rebuilt 350 and a th400.
Has no major rust, just surface and has factory a/c. Its a half ton but a good truck so far.

Re: Picked up a work truck
Nice work truck, for sure.I was using a`70 Custom/10 a while back.I put a Reading steel top on the bed and kept it full of tools.I went out and bought new 3/4t coils and installed Air Lift bags inside on the rear.It adds 1500# of true capacity and you can adjust accordingly. All that for a couple hundred bucks.

Re: Picked up a work truck
I put a decent load in the bed today and it was really bouncy.
I look under the truck and the shocks are just hanging there haha

Re: Picked up a work truck
I`ve gone to buy these trucks for work and ended up deciding they were too nice.My ochre and white CustomCamper was one of them.I went to look at it figuring I`d lose the camper and work it.I was amazed at how well kept it was and drove home the family`s new camper/fun machine. The next summer we were at the Grand Canyon. One of the best things I`ve ever done.
