Interesting fact of the day...
Here is an interesting fact and one that has surprised some people.
Many say that the 1977 Chevrolets were the only ones that did not have black paint in the body side moldings. Here is a pic of the emblem from my 1975 GMC Gentleman Jim that shows the Gold paint in the trim. All the trim (wheel well, tailgate, body sides and back of cab) has this color in the center. Try to find replacements for this, it is a different color than they used in 77.

I dont think GM ever fully recorded any of the options for any vehicle they've ever made. You've got a rare truck my friend, hang on to it.

interesting,,,
saw my first 77 chevy pickup about four weeks ago, not many trucks left around here these days. had the yellow trim on it |

1977 was the ONLY year GM had yellow trim. I believe ALL 77 truck models (GM & Chev) had it.
