Has anyone used exhaust wrap or paint control the heat? I've been thinking about wrapping mine.. has anyone done this? How much did you need to wrap both sides? How long does it last?

Re: Headers..
"HEADER WRAP" is not good on the pipes it traps the heat in too much and also encourages corrosion etc etc, if it's a daily driver or driven often alot of people reccomend you do not do that, where eactly are you trying to control the heat? like in the engine bay? y know something likea cowl hood would help disperse the heat in there
depends on what youare looking for

Re: Headers..
The powder coater that we use at work has a powder coat for headers and exhaust parts, I’ll be doing mine in yellow when I’m ready (along time from now).

Re: Headers..
Ceramic coated headers are the best option.

Smart stick with what you know. I paid as you said ceramic headers are expensive, I paid around 600 for a set from summitt racing. The ceramic is bubbling and coming off. Look Like second rate junk now. Funny Part is they have been in side ever since I have had them and never in the weathe or on a wet or muddy road. Thinking I was shafted by them guys.
