Out with the old, in with the "new"
Made a little bit of progress on my truck....
Here's the new crate 350. Picked up a junkyard hood for $40 (in my original color too!) to replace the one damaged by a tree.... Installed junkyard tailgate ($35) and added a quick coat of paint as a sealer... old: new:

Re: Out with the old, in with the "new"
added a mid-70s steering wheel. feels like a truck now
and modified some 73-87 below eyeline mirrors, to fit the original 67-72 mirror holes. pass side turned out better, but they work great....

Nice Crate. I have been considering this option. May I ask how much it cost?

I think they are about $1200? They work great for a DD.

Good job, I see yet another Des Moiner is on the site. When I joined the site back in 03 I don't think there weren't many from central IA, but now that I have moved there is a boat load. You'll have to drive it to porky's some saturday night
