72 Grill

can someone please post pictures of the brackets that are on the back side of the grill so I can see where and what hardware go, all I have is new stuff never been put together so its a little over whelming to me, thanks in advance

tphsmith,just for your info the first pic is from LMC's catalog.It's a great "how it goes together" book but pricey for parts.Get one to use as an assembly manual but buy from our fine BB vendors.

PanelDeland hey how have you been, I do have the LMC' wish book and the assembly manual but they dont show how the brackets go to the grill, I'm wondering if I have to drill holes in the brackets because the pics in this thread roughly show where the brakets go but in the grill there are holes, is this where rivits go or screws or jesus clips or???? and my brackets have NO holes in them to where they sit in respect to the grill, sorry for being so lost here but id sure like to see close up shots of what holds the brackets to the grill thanks all

Okay....shot a few pics for you tphsmith....Looks as if the original braces are riveted to the outer grill shell....hope these help ya out.....

and a couple more...notice in the second pic that it also mounts (rivets) above and below the headlight cut out...let me know if you need anymore!!!
