Hey there,

I have a 94 K1500 Silverado Blazer with 240K I recently changed the trans filter and re toped it off with some fresh dextron III. Now my overdrive does not kick in?

I have the opportunity to buy a 1990 K5 Blazer with a good trans, not to mentione all the other parts i could use on my 73 2WD K5 Blazer.

What are your thougts on any of this? what would you do in my situation?

Don't think the tranny's will swap out because of the electronics but could be wrong.
I'd still go for it though for all the other parts for your '73

I also think on the new body Blazer the front driveline drops on the driver side as opposed to dropping on the passenger side on Blazers up to '91.

The 94 should have a 4L60E trans...
