Quick axel question
Ive got an Eaton rearend here from a leafspring 3/4 ton truck. Do leaf and trailing arm trucks use the same mounts on the rearend. Thanks

Re: Quick axel question
I bet I know what you're up to, koolky...I've got an Eaton as well, and to get a 12 bolt out of another truck, the easiest to find in good shape are the 73-87's, which are all leaf. I'm grinding off the leaf pad and welding on some trailing arm pads, shouldn't be very difficult. I'm actually thinking of tacking them down once I set the pinion angle, and then taking them to someone who knows how to weld really well to lay the bead.
