Does this affect speedo
I switch from to a automatic from a 3speed....... Will this affect my speedometer.......... It seems as if it is off by 10-15mph also have 275-60 15 tires?

The driven gear and the drive gear (both inside the transmissions) could be and probably are different.
Pull the speedometer gear housing out and note the color of the driven gear. If the gear in your old transmission looks ok, swap it with the one you have now. Thats how they adjust the speedo for different gear/tire combinations. |
