It was the best of times...my 66 C10 interior transformation (lots-o-pics!)

It was the WORST of times a couple weeks back, but the new tranny is in and I'm back on the road. What you are about to see took a total of three months. It shouldnt have taken that long, but the guy I had doing it is a ridiculous procrastinator and take on WAY to many projects at one time. But he's good, and his prices are phenominal. So I rolled with the punches.

Now to the purists, I could not care less about keeping my truck original. I have 2 all originial numbers/matching/protecto plate/window sticker cars (69 Impala and 70 Monte Carlo) so my truck is gonna be whatever I feel like doing to it. I like to have a mixture of old and new school, but I have ALOT of new now. This started as just a radio and 6x9's, but morphed into what you are about to see. I had some horrible racing seats in my truck before. I scored some FREE leather power seats from an 02 Accord to replace them. I'll go ahead and let the pics (before and after style) speak now!

Clear signal lenses, painted the letters yellow, new grill, bumper, headlights, HID's

No, I'm not a Steelers fan! I am however trying to stay with yellow, black, stainless/chrome, and tiny amounts of white. The system sounds fantastic, and I'm happy with how it turned out. Tell me what you think!

Wow... you've done a lot of work lately! I like all of the mods.

The center console turned out great and I like the refreshed front end.

You know it! Just one though, a JL Audio W3. I was a non-believer in one 10" making any noise, but matted to an old school Rockford Fosgate Punch 200 that 10 is getting busy!

Looks very nice! Are you going to put something where the keys dangle to protect the paint? I think if you taped off an area, like a small rectangle, and sprayed it with that bed liner in an aresol, it would look good. Just my 2 cents.

Yeah, I need to address that. I usually dont have stuff dangling like that, but I got a keychain garage door opener and changed my locks on the house. Good suggestion, thanks!

Seats look awful comfy. I think the interior is very nice and the most important thing is it is just how you want it - that is all that is really important.
