I'm sure this is what everyone was thinking from the title

No more non-functioning A/C.

I have what they call a "Hotrod" heater, which is basically a small heater mounted to the inside of the firewall complete with its own fan. I have mine plumbed to the defrost ducts.

I just really like the look of a clean engine compartment.

Re: Shaved another one!!!!!

Here are several. I like a clean engine compartment as well.

If it wasn't so hot here I would have one as well. I have Vintage air and it makes for a clean engine compartment.

Re: Shaved another one!!!!!

how would you go about leaving the heater box in the engine bay but just do away with the ac box. ive gotten rod of the ac compressor but still have the ac in the bay but wanna ditch it but not sure which hoses to keep the heater hooked. anyone be able to shed some light on that?

I bought mine at a heavy machine repair place. I'll post pics later.

If I understand what your asking................you should be able to install a non-AC heaterbox on your truck.
You need the supply hose off the waterpump and the return hose to the intake.

The firewall is actually different for the heater vs heater/ac box.
You would have to cover the opening and reopen the hole for the smaller heater box.
Or, weld in the part of the firewall that is for the heater only box.
Or, cover the area completely then drill two holes for the heater hose block that would mount to the firewall accepting the hoses from the engine.
Or, keep the stock heater/ac box and only use the heater ports. (just the two hoses that hook to your intake manifold and water pump. (usually look about 1/2-3/4 in hoses)
