sittin sidewayz
have an 04 silverado, that i have lowered with a 2/4 groundforce kit,recently noticed the driver side sits lower then passenger side anyone else have this problem? what can cause this please help

That is a common chevy/gmc problem. The gas tank is on the drivers side.

yes it is common. weight of the driver and gas tank weight all on one side makes tehm lean

Yes it is common; called the "Chevy lean".
But is the gas tank enough to make that much difference?

you know i just noticed the same thing on my 03 sierra but i still havent lowered it yet. Did you noticed this before you dropped it or after?

gas weight 7.3 pounds a gallon... multiply that by what, 30 gallons? 219 pounds with a full tank... plus 200 or so pounds for a typical male driver...
I could see that makin it lean a bit. |

It is very common, you just didn't notice it before the drop. on my 06 Silverade CC, I had to set one shackle a hole higher than the other. Mine was so bad I couldn't even tow a small trailer without it bottoming out.

I have a 2002 Silverado with a DJM 4/6 drop.The front driver side was almost an inch lower than the passenger side. I have the 4inch drop lower control arms.I made a spacer about 3/4 inch thick to sit down in the cup.Then I installed the spring like normal.It helped alot but it still sat a little lower.I also tried a 1 inch block on the rear of the passenger side.They both worked but it still never sat level.It bugged me forever because I knew it didn't sit level.Good luck.
