Re: sittin sidewayz
That is a common chevy/gmc problem. The gas tank is on the drivers side.

Re: sittin sidewayz
Yes it is common; called the "Chevy lean".
But is the gas tank enough to make that much difference?

Re: sittin sidewayz
gas weight 7.3 pounds a gallon... multiply that by what, 30 gallons? 219 pounds with a full tank... plus 200 or so pounds for a typical male driver...
I could see that makin it lean a bit. |

Re: sittin sidewayz
It is very common, you just didn't notice it before the drop. on my 06 Silverade CC, I had to set one shackle a hole higher than the other. Mine was so bad I couldn't even tow a small trailer without it bottoming out.

Re: sittin sidewayz
I have a 2002 Silverado with a DJM 4/6 drop. The front driver side was almost an inch lower than the passenger side. I have the 4inch drop lower control arms.I made a spacer about 3/4 inch thick to sit down in the cup. Then I installed the spring like normal. It helped alot but it still sat a little lower.I also tried a 1 inch block on the rear of the passenger side. They both worked but it still never sat level. It bugged me forever because I knew it didn't sit level.Good luck.
