Talking really stupid frame question!!

just had a question and wanted to know, has anyone completely removed all the rivets on their frame, and replaced them with grade 8 bolts?

i was thinking the frame would twist more and cause a bolt to shear off!! or even come out of alignment

but prove me wrong!!!

pics and opinons are helpful
thanks

Re: really stupid frame question!!

I'm considering at least tacking the bolts together on my truck so there won't be any squeaking.

I have a front trans crosmember (the one that bolts a cast bellhousing for manual transmission)that the rivets are starting to become loose. I thought if just replace the bolts on the member, why not do the whole thing!!!

just checking if anyone has done this!
