Close to it but maybe not quite 6'.
Looks like 8' when your approaching it.

PO had it built, I'm considering some changes and part of those changes will be to cut the cage off from the seats back and re-do it.
Going to try and retain the top portion so I can still use the soft top I just got done making but that's all that's going to stay.

I feel bad for whomever sits in that back seat if that rig goes over. I do like the lines though.

Re: roll bars/cages

yep that is the one. as far as being in the back i think it wouldnt be too bad if you look the bar still is higher than the seat so as long as they duck down theyll be ok. i like the way it looks as well. and if im doing anything crazy there def wouldnt be people in the back seat.

Re: roll bars/cages

Most cages and functional roll bars aren't off the shelf items. Since you're asking where to buy one, I'm gonna assume you don't have a bender or the welding tools needed (I don't either). Find yourself a good offroad shop and they can help you design what you want...take a picture or drawing of what you want with you, it'll help. Last time I had a cage quoted for mine it was like $1800...and it didn't have all the diagonals you find on a serious cage. Good designs cost $$$$$.

It's a custom build by the looks.

Quick tip for ya: By going into your User CP (user control panel) you can access any and all threads you've read under "List Subscriptions".

Main hoop leans to far rearward for my taste.

As grendel posted, way dangerous for those in the back seat.
Pull the rear seat and you'd have a nice set up.
Would be cool to see other pics that could show how it's tied in too.

Re: roll bars/cages

That cage looks like it would fold on a solid roll. I like the lines, but if you model it, it would fold back toward the rear of the rig. If you tied the two B pillars together more, you might get more resistance there, but the C pillars aren't going to resist much as the impact forces it back.

Never thought I'd say this, but it needs more triangulation.

Re: roll bars/cages

the main hoop needs to be a little more vertical to the truck so it won't try and come down on the back seat. there doesn't appeart to be much in the way of a front hoop and if there is there needs to be more tieing it into the rest of the cage.

good cages need to be tied into the frame, not just bolted to the body. i might guess that the one in question is not.

prices at the shop are around $2000+ depending on how involved you want the cage. also frame tie ins take more time = more dollars, but worth it IMO

I'd have to agree with you Ryan, also you would want to make sure that the seats and belts are secured to the cage as a unit and not attached to the body. Its amazing how many good cages that are tied to the frame are out there but the seats are only secured to the body. DOES ANYBODY HAVE TWO TENS FOR A FIVE !
