Making progress....
Here's a few of the latest photos. I found a serpentine pulley set up in a junk, yard, brought it home , blasted, and painted. Core support is being painted today, As soon as it's finished the aluminum radiator and the pulleys go on, I think it'll be ready to crank. The brake hard lines are complete, I changed to the driver side though.

Re: Making progress....
Dan, There was 3 different different types of brackets. The ones I'm using was from around a 91 truck, I think. I was told one set was steel one piece, there was a two piece aluminum (what I have), and a one piece aluminum. I might be incorrect on this information, just going by what I was told. There was a guy selling a whole set-up on ebay from a 90 model camaro. It's the same as a 90 model truck, except the brackets are wider, to compensate for the lower hood.
The headers are Dyna-Max. I found them on Ebay, only $150. I think they were designed for a 60s or early 70 model camaro, I can't remember. Thanks for all the positive feedback. I wouldn't have made as much progress if it wasn't for all the helpful members of the board. |
