Fuel lines

I need to know what the size is for the fuel line, metal ones, from the back of the blazer, 1970, to the front. Inline Tube sells them but asks if they are 3/8 or 7/16. The old line looks bigger like 3/8 but just wondered what you all did. Thanks...

Re: Fuel lines

Almost positive it is 3/8". I am 100%positive that the rubber line from the tank is 3/8".

Re: Fuel lines

I just remembered something else, I think the larger 7/16" diameter may have been for big block trucks.

Re: Fuel lines

It should be 5/16" or 3/8". IIRC, 5/16" was used on the V6 trucks.

Re: Fuel lines

no, the 5/16 was on inlines, and 2 bbl trucks.
All 4 bbl trucks and V6 trucks got the larger 3/8 line.

Re: Fuel lines

Bah! Ya I meant the inlines... not V6's.
