1967 frame

Hi guys I was wondering if anyone would know off hand if a 1997 gmc extended cab frame would mount up to my 1967 Gmc reg cab body..

No...certainly not a direct "mount up" fit. different width, length, and shape.

Anything is possible if you have enough money, welding rods, and crack cocaine though.

I know a guy who used a 88-98 4x4 frame under his 67, but I dont remember if it was extended cab out not

I know he had to cut 11 inches out of it in length, but the width seamed ok & he had to make new body mounts

I was kinda hopeing it would work cause I want to use all the parts out of the 97 anyways thought it might save some work.
