Need input for my DD

This is a little off topic for this thread but i couldnt think of any better sources to ask... I have the oppurtunity to buy an all original 1965 nova ss with a mild 350 and a powerglide. The paint is new and the interior is flawless. and it has no rust. and its dirt cheap.
What kind of mileage do you guys think i could pull with this if i dropped in say a 200r4 and a 550cfm carb w/efi? I need a new daily driver and i am looking for any alternative to a honda

Re: Need input for my DD

I am not sure, at least in the high teens I would expect, maybe a little better depending on the rear-end ratio and tire size.

I am sure some one that knows more will chime in.

It is a real good looking car and if it is dirt cheap I would buy it.

agreed!

the 350 in my old 76 C1500 was seeing 19-21 in the city with a 650CFM Edelbrock when I stayed off it... but as soon as that lead foot came down it dropped to the low teens

In the past 30 years about 90% of Fords are still on the road, the other 10% made it home.
