This belongs to one of my customers. It really is a cool little scout and it is for sale for about $3,500.
Notice it is hauling the good Chevy PU parts for his new little SWB truck. Now you know why he is selling the IH.

thats nice... those things rusted out almost as fast as jeeps and 73 - 87 chevy trucks up here.

Man, they built those right down the road from me in Springfield, Ohio.

It`s 73-77 GM trucks that had rust problems.And these were right there rusting just as bad.That`s a really nice one.It would fetch at least $5,500 back east.I always stayed away from IH products because parts were always a pain.That`s a big reason why I went with GMs,too.

If you look behind the El Camino in this picture, you'll see the International we used at Bien Hoa, RVN. The picture was taken in April/May '70. We had to turn in the crew cab, after we re-painted it, to pick up the new Chevy P-10 step van for our unit. That's another thing they're good for.....trading in on a new Chevy!

We just hauled one we had to the junk yard the other day, same as that green one only orange and completely rusted out....worth $350 at the crusher/scrap yard...and full of bees

back in '72, my parents traded their '69 CST short fleet 2wd in on a brand new scout II. other than engine issues and difficulty buying parts, it was a great little car. we put 3 motors in it during it's lifetime, it had the 345 with a 4 speed.

my dad had a scout when i was a kid, i loved that thing. it's the only thing i ever remember him keeping very long, long enough that he had to put new seat covers on it!
