Window Problem

My window before was working ok, it would take a bit of effort to roll it up but it would go up.But the other day I tried to roll it up and nothing, It took me all my strength to roll it up. Iam not exactly sure what the problem is if you guys could give me a few tips or advice to what might be wrong and how to fix it. Thanks

Re: Window Problem

Take a look at the rubber strip (the one with the little metal clips holding it in) along the upper inside of the door. I just removed my door panels and found that if this strip is even just a little out of adjustment, it binds against the window and makes it hard to roll up/down. Could be something wrong with the mechanism though.

Re: Window Problem

well I pulled the strip out and still had the same problem. Iam thinking its the mechanism, the crank has about a 1/4 turn of play in it.
