Top questions for a 72

Did the factory put both top bedrail mounts on the 72's? My 72 Jimmy has a double wall top and the holes appear to be factory. It also has the nuts for a single wall top and they have some kind of rubber plugs in them. I assume this was a 72 only thing.

On a side note what is the weight difference between a single wall and a double wall?

Re: Top questions for a 72

the double walls were used in the early '72. Not sure if they had both holes, but it is possible.

It is factory. Some 1972's had double wall top holes only, some single only, then others with both. Would be nice to have, almost like an option.
