If you plan to get it rebuilt I say go with someone local. Someone who has been around for awhile. You dont want to ship your carb out of state then get it back only to have problems. Go local if your going to rebuild.
If new Edelbrock makes a good q-jet. Check out their web site. www.edelbrock.com They are expensive though. Jegs has the cheapest price I know of.

Try Speedtek in Hurst
http://www.theimarketplace.com/Speed...on=customintro Their website doesn't have much, but you can get there phone number from that. You may ask a dealership parts counter and see if they know. Every once in awhile those guys can be very helpful.

Personally, I would be scared to death of rebuilt Q-jet. I'm sure there are plenty of places who rebuilds them and they are great. I love my Edelbrock 1904 though.
Whatever you do, don't even think about buying a rebuilt Q-jet from Autozone or Advance. I've witnessed what they do to them from Autozone. It ain't pretty for sure. I've never bought a rebuilt one off the internet so I can't say where a good place would be.
