12 bolt rear disc brakes.

I was wondering if any one had ever tried to assemble a rear disc brake kit using 10 bolt factory discs? I blew apart the rear end on my 01 Silverado (again!), and was removing the wheels, and the factory set up is very straight forward. I was wondering if the ends of the 99+ 10 bolts are the same as the 63+ 12 bolt axles.

Re: 12 bolt rear disc brakes.

I've done disc's on a 5 on 5 12 bolt. Is yours 6 on 5 1/2 or 5 on 5? I've looked at the rotors on the light duty 3/4 ton's in the ~2002-2004 years, but haven't done anything with it yet.

Re: 12 bolt rear disc brakes.

Here's mine using 3rd gen f-body calipers, caprice rotors, and Glock's brackets (member here). More info around pages 22-24 of my tahoe build:
