Drop ??????

I just got a deal on a ECE 2.5"drop spindles and everything to convert to discs on the front of my 70 2wd Blazer. When I went to pick them up, The guy selling them told me to take the DJM Tubular 3" Drop A-arms, too. He had them on the frame, but decided to go air bags. I was going to do 3.5/5 drop, But what drop would I need in the rear if I use all the stuff I just got for a total of 5.5" in the front. I wish he would of gave me the new 572 in the corner. Thanks

Re: Drop ??????

I'd be guessing 7 in the back(6" drop coils and an inch of block on the trailing arms)

Re: Drop ??????

You probably won't be able to use the arms and spindles together. You can try, but it probably won't work.

Re: Drop ??????

I would be interested in the "A" arms if you are not going to use them.

Re: Drop ??????

You'd have to go back to stock springs (not a bad thing).

My truck is 5.5in with 2.5in spindles and 3in shorter springs... I have about a 7 inch drop in the back (C notch required). I used blocks to get the rear where I wanted it after the springs where in, no big deal.

Rides great but will probably put airbags or helpers in back as it can't carry much weight with the soft springs (thats the trade off for lowered rear springs).

Re: Drop ??????

What is the most drop I can go in the rear without a c-notch???? It's a 2wd Blazer frame, I really do not want to cut it.
