1970 C/10 (my first vehicle)

Well, i just turned 19, and since i was about 16 i have been looking for one of these trucks. My dad is a seasoned veteran in mechanics (his job for some 30 years) so he was in the hunt with me. I found this one in a local car/truck site, it was across the city and he really didn't want to go because he didn't want to drive across the city to look at some piece of garbage. So we did anyway and well it was what i said. Strong running 350(transplant), sag 3spd tranny. I will get a shot of the option sheet. AND it was build in Canada, home country truck

The grill is still all tore up but i can replace that any time. It's gone pretty easy so far to, mechanically it wasn't all that bad, just the body was rough. The tranny is another story, it was a 3 on the tree converted to a floor shift, but with a $20 shift kit, its like stirring soup, we didn't know it was converted also, except for the hole that had been cut in the floor, we figured it would be reverse up, first down, 2nd up right, 3rd down right. Its first up, reverse down, 2nd down right 3rd up right.

Any who like i said its getting close and im excited, he has had his toys over the years and now i get mine, and its extra special because its not something daddy got for me and did all the work on, i have had the experience of working on it my self, with dads help of course and that makes it that much more sweet

First picture is after it was in an accident
Second is when it was in its prime(original owner was a cowboy, hence all the garbage on it, and thats from like 87 i think the photo siad)
Third is just an open hood shot
Fourth is a side view before redone rockers and with all the add on garbage still on it

those are older photos a month or so.

I will get some new photos probably some time tomorrow.
