Question Hubs..

I'm fairly new to the 4x4 scene and just got a 1980 GMC K15 half ton. I'm having problems turning the front hubs to 'lock'. Is this a common problem? As far as I can tell, they are factory. How easy is it to take them off and clean them? Or just replace them entirely?

Re: Hubs..

Got almost similar situation with. At first, got bad bearing on its passenger side. It just can't enough and the whole front hubs got into real trouble by now. Thus, it created an err sound that annoys me a lot. Replacing the whole hubs would be the best solution.

It is a common problem. It's very easy to do, with simple hand tools. I assume you mean the locking hub portion of the front hub assembly?
